Pabili Made Simple: How to Send the Perfect Shopping List

Pabili is one of the most useful things FetchGo does: you send the list, a rider shops for you, and everything arrives at your door. A good list makes all the difference between "perfect, salamat!" and "ay, hindi ito yung brand ko." Here's how to get it right every time.

1. Be specific: item, brand, size, quantity

"Gatas" can mean a dozen different things. Write it the way you'd want it bought:

• ✅ Fresh milk, 1 liter, full cream, any brand: 2 boxes
• ✅ Rice, 5 kg, dinorado, preferred brand X
• ✅ Dishwashing liquid, 250 ml, lemon scent: 1 bottle

Include the store if you have a favourite. Otherwise, tell us any nearby store is okay.

2. Decide on substitutions ahead of time

Stores run out. Add a short note for each item, or one for the whole list:

• "Okay to substitute with similar brand or size", or
• "Skip if not available", or
• "Call me first before substituting"

If an item is unavailable, much more expensive than expected, or needs a big substitution, we'll try to contact you before going ahead.

3. Understand the price: item cost and delivery fee are separate

The price of the items is set by the store and can change without notice. The FetchGo delivery and service fee is separate, unless we say otherwise for your booking. We confirm the applicable delivery fee with you before your request goes ahead. Keep your receipt questions handy. We're happy to help.

4. Keep it to what fits on a motorcycle

Our riders deliver by motorcycle, so very bulky or heavy items (like a full sack of feeds or large appliances) may not be possible. When in doubt, ask us first.

5. Things we can't buy

We may decline items that are prohibited, unsafe, or unsuitable for delivery. Some medicines and pharmacy products may need a prescription or other requirements, or may not be eligible at all.

Store: any grocery near Santa Cruz plaza
1. Rice, 5 kg, any brand: 1 sack (okay to substitute)
2. Eggs, medium: 1 tray
3. Canned tuna, 155 g, flakes in oil: 6 cans (any brand)
4. Bath soap, preferred brand Y: 3 bars (call me if none)
5. Bottled water, 6 L: 2
